Manual photography is simply a setting on the camera which allows you to adjust all settings.
There are two options either automatic, where the camera will adjust its own settings, or, manual, where you can personally change your settings to fit your expectations.
The adjustable settings are;
Exposure: Exposure is the amount of light that is let into the lens.
Aperture: Aperture is how wide the lens has opened, the wider it is the more light that will pass through.
Shutter Speed: Shutter Speed is how long the lens is open for. The higher the number the longer the lens will stay open capturing everything in shot, whilst moving.
ISO: ISO is how sensitive the lens is to the object, if the number is high it will make the photos look 'noisy'.
