Slinkachu
Slinkachu is a London-based photographer who focuses his work on miniature worlds. Slinkachu has created shoots all over the world such as; Barcelona, Norway, Manchester and Amsterdam.
He takes small statues and uses mainly street scenes for imaginative situations such as: going on a boat ride, seeing he loch-ness monster, being superman or swimming in a pool made of melted ice lolly liquid.
The 'Little people project' started in 2006. Slinkachu creates the the scenes, photographs them, then he simply leaves the statues when he put them for other people to look at. So they start looking closer into their surroundings.
Slinkakchu gives a title for all his photographs which resemble loneliness and melancholy of living in the big city. As well as putting some humour into the photograph by the little people.
Slinkachu's inspiration comes from comics and Ben Folds because of how he tells stories.
